Annie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Bachelor of Arts from Cedarville University in 2010 and her Masters in Allied Professions from the University of Dayton in 2012. She received her Professional Counseling License (PC) in 2012 and is currently working on her Independent Counseling License (LPCC).
Annie has a wide range of experiences working with individuals, teens, adolescents, families and couples. She has worked in Community Mental Health, University Campus and now in Private Practice. Among her areas of expertise are trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, shame, addictions, and codependency.
Annie's therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling to help clients effectively deal with personal life challenges. She utilizes a combination of therapeutic modalities including CBT, Expressive therapies, ACT and mindfulness based interventions and can also provide faith based counseling to those whose faith is an important part of their healing. Annie believes that the therapeutic relationship is a key factor in the therapy process, providing a safe, comfortable, nonjudgemental space where clients can be heard and receive guidance to help unpack their struggles.
